MYERSTOWN CUB SCOUT PACK 460 IS CHARTERED BY FRIEDENS LUTHERAN CHURCH
Cub Scout Pack 460 is part of the Iron Forge District in the Pennsylvania Dutch Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Pack 460 is a volunteer-driven organization that is led by the parents of our Scouts and provides age-appropriate adventures to boys in grades K-5 in Lebanon and surrounding counties.
Pack 460 supports the Boy Scout’s of America MISSION STATEMENT: To prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
PACK 460 MISSION STATEMENT - The mission of Cub Scout Pack 460 is to provide Scouts with adventures that are age-appropriate for their developmental level. These adventures are planned and delivered through fully trained and responsible leaders and focus on the Pack 460 values.
PACK 460 VISION STATEMENT - Pack 460 will instill the program's values in its members to ensure they are SCOUTS TODAY and LEADERS TOMORROW.
The Pack 460 values are consistent with confidence building, leadership, character development, physical fitness and nutrition, community service, personal achievement, good citizenship, family involvement, and respectful relationships. The values we seek to instill are found in the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Pack and Den activities teach our values in a fun, cooperative environment.
CUB SCOUT OATH - On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.
CUB SCOUT LAW - A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.
From the first Lion meeting to the conclusion of the Arrow of Light Crossover Ceremony, the Pack 460 Scouting experience is a journey like no other. Our Pack, including families, participate in many events throughout the year, including but not limited to:

- Service projects—Scouting for Food, sorting food at the food bank, BSA Adopt-a-School program, and other community activities.
- Trunk or Treat and Christmas Party—Families and siblings gather and celebrate the holidays with the Pack.
- Court of Honor Ceremony—A joint ceremony with Troop 20 to celebrate Cub and Boy Scouts' achievements.
- Pinewood Derby®— Scouts can build and race a car with the chance to earn a medal and a trophy.
- Blue and Gold Banquet—Cub Scouting’s birthday party for all Pack members and their families— takes place in February.
- Crossover Ceremonies—A celebration of the boys' achievements where they are awarded loops or pins and cross over the bridge to the next Den.
