MARCH 2012 PACK MEETING:
BOY SCOUTS CROSSOVER,
ARROW OF LIGHT CEREMONY
AND EGG HUNT

What: Pack meetings, which include participation by all dens, are the official gathering of the Pack and are conducted with various purposes and locations.  Among other things, they serve to honor scouts with awards, convey Pack information, and conduct ceremonies or other events.

The March 2012 Pack meeting will be the annual Boy Scout Crossover Ceremony, Arrow of Light Ceremony and Egg Hunt.  The crossover is bridging ceremony to advance Webelos II, Pack 460 Cub Scouts to the Troop 20 Boy Scouts.  This is a big deal for the scouts, since it represents the end of their cub scout career with a welcoming to the Boy Scouts.

The Arrow of Light Award is the highest honor that a cub scout may earn and is the only uniform-worn award that may be carried-over to the Boy Scouts uniform.  The ceremony recognizes the Webelos II who earned the award.

The egg hunt is sponsored by our friends at Troop 20 and is always a hit with the scouts and their siblings.

Note the bridging ceremony for the other cub scout ranks follows at a later date with a different ceremony.
Where: Boy Scouts Troop 20 Cabin
When: Cub scouts report for pack meeting at 12:30 pm on Saturday March 16, 2013.

Egg hunt will follow pack meeting.  Siblings welcome to join in!

Also see Pack 460 Calendar for specific dates and times.
